Skylar is a family-owned company that set out to create perfumes that are hypoallergenic, safe for sensitive skin, vegan, and cruelty-free. You can layer their scents and never have to worry about them being overpowering. They have a wide variety of scents so there is something for everybody and every occasion, from Salt Air to Vanilla Sky, to Magic Bloom.
I could literally bathe in Pink Canyon
Skylar popped up in my browser when I was frantically searching for hypoallergenic perfume. I had been so fed up with my current perfume, which would leave red spots on my arm and neck if I used it too often. Trying to tough it out and get through the bottle was another option, but it just got redder and redder. After all, it was expensive! Well, you can imagine how ecstatic I was to come across Skylar. It was the most perfect timing, thank you Universe!

Okay, so back to the scents. I couldn’t decide which one to try first since they all sounded amazing. They thought ahead and created a Discovery Set and a Discover your Scent Quiz. The set includes 5 samples of different scents to try out. I ordered one right away! The scents in my set were: Salt Air, Isle Escape, Capri Summer, Pink Canyon and Vanilla Sky. I love warm, sensual scents so naturally, my favorites were Pink Canyon and Vanilla Sky. I could literally bathe in Pink Canyon. Capri Summer came in a close third.

Each month, Skylar will share with you the limit-edition rollerball scent and you can either switch it out for another scent or skip that month entirely without penalty. Not only do you save close to $10, it ships free! The rollerball size will last at least 3 months when wearing it every day. I also love how easy it is to travel with. Just throw it in your bag and off you go!
Being a part of the scent club also means that you get 20% off all products. So, if you love one of the rollerball scents you can purchase a full size bottle (if that scent is available) and get 20% off. I took advantage of that and ordered Coral, pictured above. Coral may not be available anymore but Capri is a perfect replacement. To me, it smells like spring and summer in a bottle.
