How to Get Loose Waves with a Curling Wand

I’ve been looking for a way to elevate my straight hair look without going too crazy, and after coming across L’ange hair tools I found what I was looking for! Curling wands are way easier to use than curling irons, in my opinion. My ends would always get crimped in the curling iron (probably because I was doing it wrong) but with a wand, there is no wrong way to curl.

This step-by-step tutorial will show how you can get gorgeous loose waves in less than 20 minutes! I use a 25mm titanium curling wand and divide my hair into sections to make sure I don’t miss anything. Protecting your hair is super important, so you’ll see me prime my hair with my go-to Thermal Protectant. It adds shine and hydration, as well as controls frizz! It’s seriously the best. After each section is curled, I go in with a light hold spray that won’t leave the hair feeling crunchy, this is the Texturizing Spray. If you want a stronger hold, I recommend using hair spray. This texturizing spray is perfect to use for light, beachy waves.

At the end, either run your fingers through to separate out your curls or gently brush them out to add volume. It’s important to let your waves cool completely before doing either step, this will allow your waves to last longer.

I hope this method saves you time and gives you that extra boost in confidence throughout your day! For more tutorials, visit my page here.
